Committees

The Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development examines topics related to global economic cooperation and social justice as the foundation of peaceful coexistence. Areas of German development cooperation include education and training for all, decent work and sustainable growth, fighting illnesses, gender equality, urban development and climate action, infrastructure and rural development, strengthening public administrations and good governance. The 24 members of the Committee also monitor the implementation of German development projects in partner countries.
