On Sunday, 15 November, Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, delivered the Remembrance Speech at the central Ceremony of Remembrance of the German War Graves Commission on the National Day of Mourning. The Ceremony of Remembrance took place under the auspices of the President of the Bundestag, Dr Wolfgang Schäuble.
