31. Januar 2024 Eva Szepesi and Marcel Reif speak on Holocaust Remembrance Day
On Wednesday, 31 January 2024, the Bundestag came together in remembrance of the victims of National Socialism. The welcome address by Bundestag President Bärbel Bas was followed by speeches from Holocaust survivor Eva Szepesi and sports journalist Marcel Reif. This year, the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism focused on addressing the Shoah from an intergenerational perspective. The Ceremony of Remembrance has taken place every year at the German parliament since 1996.
